My Success Story

Life can take you by surprise. It certainly did me. I was pursuing a career that I really enjoyed, finishing my education, dating a guy that wasn’t all that bad. I thought that I could do anything, be anyone, the world was mind! Then it happened

I remember the day I found out that I was pregnant. Well, honestly I knew before the official test. I chose to ignore the signs. Of course, something like this could never happen to me. I was too smart, too old, too “with it” for this to be happening. What was I going to do?…

The very first person I told that I was pregnant was a staff member from Life-Way Pregnancy Center and instead of being met with judgment and accusations, I was met with love, acceptance, and forgiveness.  The decision to parent or make an adoption plan was the most difficult decision to make in my life.  Because the counsel and resources I received at Life-Way, I was able to make the best choice for my child and me.

Through Life-Way, I learned how to truly love my child, as well as how to care for and parent my child.  Parenting is a life-long process and I am grateful for all that I have gained through working with Life-Way.
